Many alarm activations that come from vacant properties are false, meaning they waste police time and other resources. Our inView video verified alarm provides a collated 10 second clip of the cause of the activation for visual verification so that you can determine an appropriate response, thus ensuring the issue is dealt with accordingly .
The inView vacant property alarm is a monitored, stand-alone, battery-powered, wire free, mobile network alarm system specifically designed for use on vacant commercial and residential properties and sites where no mains power or telephone line is available.
Rapid installation and fully power-independent, this high-spec Video-Verified Alarm system detects movement via multiple sensors. Upon activation it sounds a 100db ringer and takes a series of still images, strings them together to generate a ten second clip of the cause of the activation and sends that clip, with a notification, via the mobile network to a pre-determined recipient or our NSI Gold Cat II Alarm Monitoring Centre (ARC).
This invaluable functionality provides visual evidence of the nature of the activation, and allows the recipient to determine if the activation is genuine or false, and can therefore respond accordingly. You can also add a pre recorded voice challenge as an option.
The video verified, or visually verified system is most commonly used to provide notification of different activation types, such as human entry or wildlife, especially where false alarms may be prevalent, allowing the monitoring service to determine the appropriate action to be taken and/or the security service or police to be deployed
Our temporary vacant property alarms provide a reliable solution that will help you to keep your empty building site secure. They can be installed very quickly and when you no longer need them they can be easily removed. In just 20 minutes you will have a reliable property alarm that we are confident to put our name to. Our temporary vacant alarms are ideal for all kinds of residential properties and large commercial buildings, especially retail units, car parks, and vacant pubs.
We use IP camera technology that allows for complex configurations and sharp, high-definition images that can be viewed either locally or remotely online.
Verified Video cameras provide colour images in daylight / bright light and black and white images in low / limited light via the in-built infrared lighting.
All iamgery is recorded and transmitted in real-time to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). All notifications are checked and investigated for false alerts, with our team ready to dispatch security or notify the police as and when required.
We conduct site audits to determine the level of temporary camera coverage the site/area requires, covering key access points and ensuring any security weaknesses, such as the perimeter are addressed.
Our temporary alarms systems are the ideal solution for any space or site needing temporary security:
Failing to regularly maintain your alarm system significantly raises the chances of malfunctions or, in severe cases, complete system failure. If left unattended, you might only realise an issue when a security breach occurs.
The inherent risk of your empty premises being breached, vandalised, or your assets stolen is already considerable. Without regular inspections and a dependable alarm system maintenance service, the potential costs linked to these risks can be excessive and will always surpass the expense of proper alarm system maintenance. This risk is further exacerbated when there are fire hazards in an empty building. Read more about our alarm servicing or fire alarm maintenance here.
Clearway property services specialise in the security and protection of vacant properties and sites. Our solutions are ideal for protecting against costly damage caused by vandals, thieves, squatters, and other antisocial behaviour.
We have found that a vacant commercial building will deteriorate much faster than one that is in use. We have designed and developed a range of empty property security products such as alarms, doors and screens through to concrete barrier hire and perimeter security products.
We have provided reliable and responsive property protection to a number of clients and industries such as government organisations, estate agencies, housing associations and retail businesses. Our vacant property doors are the only doors that are accredited by police authorities.
In 2017, Clearway was called in by a large commercial site that had been the target of several metal thefts over just a few weeks. Our comprehensive risk assessment identified multiple vulnerable entry points which we then secured with steel security screens and the Clearway Toreadoor keyless steel door. Regular property inspections were carried-out by SIA licensed inspectors to ensure the property remained protected and maintenance standards adhered to.
All detected activity, including that of the Property Inspectors, was reported to the client, and the property has remained secure and free from further attempts of theft and intrusion since the work began.
Although vacant property alarms are a highly effective deterrent, they are not as effective when used in isolation. It’s advisable to secure other accessible areas on your property that are prone to breaches. Our vacant property screens are designed to be used alongside other vacant property security solutions such as steel security doors, security screens or even CCTV solutions. Clearway can also provide:
