Our Account Manager checked the status of the unit following reports of unauthorised entry post-forfeiture, identified potential issue with broken window handle meaning the window can’t be locked.
The team focused on need for clearance, electrical isolation and drain down to reduce fire and flood risk. We produced a full report with further recommendations such as taking over alarm systems of the void premises.
Outcome
Warning signs erected to deter potential intruders and fortnightly VPIs began immediately to ensure the vacant property is secure and meets insurance requirements at all times.
