Background:
The client, a construction company, were nearing the completion of a large development of new small scale office buildings built with the framework of achieving an EPC rating of A.
For newly constructed buildings, it is the responsibility of the builder or principal contractor to provide EPC certificates to whoever commissioned the construction, within five days of completion.
Solution:
Clearway colleagues were on site to complete the assessments at the earliest convenience prior to completion, and knowing that time was of the essence, provided a rapid turnaround of the finalised reports.
Outcome:
This quick turnaround resulted in the construction company being able to supply the EPC certificates to their client upon the completion of the development, and all parties were very satisfied with the outcome.
