A private landlord who owns several residential properties across the North West.
The client contacted Clearway to report that up to 12 persons unknown had accessed the premises illegally and were occupying the property as Squatters and refusing to leave.
We deployed an Enforcement Agent to complete a Risk Assessment within 2 hours of formal instructions being received.
The Clearway Recovery Team with the clients authority appointed solicitors on behalf of the landlord and acted as the landlord’s agent, liaising with the solicitors throughout the legal application and Court proceedings.
A Possession Order was granted by Manchester County Court and successfully transferred into the High Court and a Writ of Possession granted to Clearway.
The enforcement of the Writ of Possession against Persons Unknown was undertaken by Clearway with 9x Enforcement Agents, 4x Security Guards and 2x K9 Units in-attendance.
The eviction was successfully completed with no police arrests and the subjects leaving the premises peacefully within 5 hours of the enforcement action commencing. The property was secured by our void specialist team, also in-attendance and an external security presence was maintained for 24 hours, post eviction.
Clearway were appointed at the request of the landlord to take-over the complete management security control of the premises.

Since the commencement of the provision of these immediate services there have been no further trespass issues at the property.
