Job Description

A Business Development Manager is responsible for driving increases in sales revenues by the identification and execution of growth within defined sales territory and or sector to achieve set targets.

  • Targeting primarily the conversion of new business revenue streams and the growth through additional products and services to existing customers.
  • Managing ongoing relationships, liaising between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to business and customer needs.

As Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Head Of Sales and Group Sales Director to formulate a strategy for business growth plans to maximise sales growth within your defined region and or sector. You will work in partnership with marketing, pre-sales and service delivery teams engaging with and across all business departments.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Clearway solutions as well as developing and maintaining clients in a defined geographical territory
  • Develop a specified territory by identifying and targeting prospects through cold calling, telephone prospecting and direct mail campaigns
  • Work with the Head Of Sales, develop and set specific and measurable sales objectives that support and align to the overall Clearway Technology and Clearway Group strategy
  • Report your daily activities and sales results to your line manager as required
  • Work in a team environment, taking part in training and meeting sessions for the benefit of yourself and the UK sales team
  • Attend sales meetings and conferences as required
  • Proficient with computer systems and utilise Clearway’s computer systems to maintain a current database of clients, and prospects
  • Submit call reports and sales orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Utilise prime sales time as effectively as possible, make as many contacts and meet as many prospects as possible
  • Assist and contribute your learning experiences to members of your team, and throughout the system so that you can assist other BDM’s to increase their success ratios
  • Take ownership of a personal development plans in conjunction with your line manager
  • Work on and assist your line manager on large scale promotional campaigns in your area

About You

  • Strong relationship, account management, communication, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of sales skills especially but not limited to – listening, questioning, summarising, negotiating, closing and handling concerns.
  • Comfortable dealing with customers, distributers and resellers
  • Self-motivated
  • Great attitude and behaviour

 Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Experience of a full sales cycle within B2B field sales with a proven track record of sales growth
  • A strong understanding of the industry and market place is preferable but not essential
  • Comfortable dealing with customers at all levels and across business functions
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication and sales skills
  • Ability to complete reports, understand the data and deliver to the Head Of Sales
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels internally and externally
  • A flexible approach to working life, in accordance with the needs of the business

Essential

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have the ability to travel in the UK to attend meetings including overnight stays as required
  • Demonstrable track record of driving sales growth within a similar role
  • Able to understand and use the sales related IT systems (CRM) and use them effectively to manage activity and pipeline

You’ll also need a full driving licence (minor points considered) and can pass a DBS check (that we will pay for). A CSCS card would be a plus but is not essential. No SIA licence required.

Duties include:

  • Working indoors and outdoors
  • Fitting security as required including steel panels and doors to vacant properties
  • Clearance work of general rubbish, property clearance, hazardous waste
  • Deep cleaning of properties
  • Environmental clearance and cleaning.
  • Driving company vehicles
  • Garden tidying

Essential requirements:

  • Confident, personable and good communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Available to work On Call when required
  • Available for occasional UK travel
  • Full UK driving licence (minor points considered)
  • A Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card – desirable
  • Minimum two years driving experience (driving ability will be assessed)
  • Transit/Sprinter van experience ideal

The nature of this work requires that you will need to undergo a full security screening. References from previous employers and verification of any training undertaken and certificates awarded/qualifications achieved.

Salary up to £22,000 depending on experience.

We have a vacancy for an ambitious CCTV Engineer to secure domestic and commercial properties nationwide, joining our long-established and rapidly expanding company.

Whilst training will be given, some experience and familiarity with CCTV is essential as well as the ability to demonstrate skills in maintenance and fault finding. You’ll be a confident communicator with an eye for important detail and the ability to work as part of a team or alone.

Based in [north] Kent, the role will involve travel within London and the home counties to and from client sites, using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of CCTV systems, Access Control, and ANPR Systems in a variety of premises.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and communication.
  • Working independently as well as part of a small team of engineers/subcontractors.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Install, commission, service and maintain a variety of systems such as Hikvision, Pelco, Samsung, Bosch, Panasonic, Axis, etc.
  • Possess a competent-to-good level of technical competency with CCTV and understanding of basic electrical and electronic systems/principles.
  • Additional access control, intruder, and door entry systems experience would be an advantage but training will be given where appropriate.
  • A full UK driving licence (minor points considered).
