Established in 2016, Clearway is managed by an experienced team with proven industry success and a clear vision for growth. The Group operating companies have a strong presence in the UK and France, both of which were selected due to the opportunities and the headroom for growth. These companies have been operating over the last two decades and over this period have established excellent reputations in their respective fields.
We are committed to expanding the business, by extending our geographical reach and enhancing our technology and service solutions portfolio.
The Clearway strategy is growth-focused, supported by investment in technology assets and solutions, throughout the UK and France. The market for vacant property services and management remains largely fragmented, and we see opportunity to participate in national frameworks as well as provide local services.
We actively seek synergies across the portfolio in customer insight, products, capabilities and technology, this enables us to realise efficiency and share best practice across the business.

While a key part of our growth strategy is driving a holistic solution-focused approach in the existing business, we are also keen to work with partners who share a desire for growth, offer complementary new revenue streams, and have the capacity and capability to work as part of a larger organisation.

Peter has experience managing pan-European teams, supporting growth businesses and working with private equity investors. He has a successful track record leading six disparate businesses over the past 20 years where the key common success factors have entailed working in environments of significant organic growth paired with constant business development and M and A
Non-Executive Director
Jonathan is the Managing Partner of Next Wave Partners, which he founded in 2001 following a career in Corporate Finance at Close Brothers. Jonathan has wide experience of growth capital investing and has served on the board of many fast-growing companies in the UK and Europe, with a focus on supporting Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG).
Group Chief Finance Officer
Richard is an experienced Chief Finance Officer with substantial experience in both listed and private equity backed companies. He worked for over 20 years in the packaging industry becoming VP & Finance Director of the NYSE listed Chesapeake Corporation before joining Aim-listed API Group as CFO. More recently he took PE-backed recycling business Metal & Waste Recycling Limited through two successful PE exits. A qualified accountant, Richard has substantial experience of managing finance in multi-site international companies and supporting operational and business performance improvement.
Group Commercial Director
Anthony has over 20 years’ experience working in the security and property services sector. Prior to joining Clearway, Anthony spent 5 years within the VPS Group both as Managing Director of their largest operating company, VPS UK, and latterly as Group Development Director working on the rapid development of the Group’s European operations. Anthony has an extremely strong customer network and is focused on building growth-focused teams and establishing partnerships with key suppliers and customers.
